Traditional Buttercream Cakes
Our round buttercream cakes are typically a two-layered cake with our homemade buttercream icing (with lots of different flavors to choose from!). Our best examples of this are the 6″ & 8″ cakes you see in our bakery case every day! How Do You Make Your Cakes EPIC?
We provide 6″ and 10″ beautiful, fun, and seasonal cakes that make a great centerpiece for any occasion but sometimes you need something VERY EPIC! Whether you need serious height, color, decoration, unique shapes, flowers, baubles, or need us to replicate that PERFECT CAKE you saw on Instagram or TikTok – we are here to help make your event EPIC!

What Does the Pricing Look Like?
Every Epic Custom Cake is going to be different and so getting a baseline price is hard to say. Size, specialty flavors, design work, and labor hours all must be factored into the price so it depends on complexity. We have fantastic options for every price range!
What if I’m having an event at 22 West Tap and Grill?
If you booked a catering event at 22 West you will receive an automatic 10% your final pastry bill at Epic Cookies and More.
I need a custom cake and I need it ASAP!! Help!
You’re always welcome to call or come in to Epic Cookies and More for those last minute emergencies – we always have cakes on hand!
However – custom cake work takes a lot of time when you include initial design time, ingredient selection, communication with you to make sure we get the perfect cake and so on! We ask for a minimum of 14 days notice for custom cakes & large banquet & dessert bars. That means we have received your deposit 14 days prior to the date the order is needed. If we are already booked for those dates, we will immediately let you know. We can and do take last minute requests but in order for everyone to get the highest quality service, planning ahead is recommended!
Do You Need A Deposit?
Absolutely – the moment we receive your deposit is the moment we get to work designing, ordering materials, and beginning making your event EPIC. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE, as the deposit is reserving your event date & labor. Deposits are 50% of the total of the custom order. Without a deposit, your order is not scheduled or accounted for in our system and will not be worked on!
Can I Taste Everything Before We Buy?
All of our cakes and cake-types are available at our bakery! You can come by and try out a ton of our different flavors in cupcake or cake form. If you are planning a wedding or very large (100+ person), please call the store at 908-864-4083 to book a cake consultation.
Do you deliver?
We absolutely deliver on large orders, big cakes, and banquets. You are welcome to pick up a large order yourself but you must sign a waiver that states you assume all responsibility once the cake leaves our hands.
I Inquired Online & Haven’t Heard Back!!
We are a very small shop with expert bakers creating EPIC and amazing desserts – it can take 48-72 hours to respond to inquiries, not including during very busy holidays! We will do our very best to get back to you in a timely manner but encourage you to plan ahead as far in advance as possible so we can make everything as Epically Smooth as possible!
